Over many years, our members have provided financial support to an organization called Friends of Glendon. Money raised by our members helps students at Glendon who are in need. Tax receipts for donations of more than $10 are issued at the end of December and the end of April.
This support can be provided in a variety of ways:
- During our fall and winter terms a donation box is available in all of our classrooms. Your donation can be made by cheque (made payable to Friends of Glendon) or cash. Please provide your name and address for your income tax receipt.
- Go to canadahelps.org to make your donation online. Search for Friends of Glendon and then click on Friends of Glendon. The Friends of Glendon screen will appear along with a Donate button. Click on the Donate button, enter your donation amount and then, on the “Apply Your Donation” drop down menu, scroll down to find “LLIR member, general donation”. Now click on the Continue My Donation button. The next screen will take you to a secure donation area where you can pay either by credit card or with PayPal. Lastly click on the Complete Donation Now button.
