Glendon Services

While there is no formal affiliation between Glendon and the LLIR, we have enjoyed a close relationship over the years. Our Academic Consultant is on the faculty at Glendon and many of our course leaders have been Glendon faculty as well.

LLIR members have access to the cafeteria, exhibition gallery and other college facilities and special events. Our members can obtain a library card at the Glendon Campus library for a fee.

The Canadian Language Museum was established in 2011 to promote an appreciation of all of the languages spoken in Canada and of their role in the development of this nation. It is located in Glendon Hall on Glendon College Campus. In addition to hosting exhibitions in the Glendon Gallery, the Language Museum has created travelling exhibits about Canadian English, the Inuit language, French in Canada, the Cree language, the Tapestry of languages in Canada, and 150 years of language use on signs in Toronto.

Feel free to visit their gallery when you are on campus.
